New Sanctuary Movement

There has been discussion surrounding a Lay Leaders Group and
a more direct focus on Women Workers as part of the
Interfaith Worker Justice Network. SFIWJ is involved in
exciting work with Unite For Dignity and a Women's Catering
Co-operative that has been formed by women workers who
were previously victims of wage theft & workplace
exploitation. SFIWJ is also in partnership with the National
Farm Worker Ministry & the Homestead Office of the
Farmworker's Association of Florida in the development of a
Women's Leadership Group in South Dade.
